Born and raised in Aotearoa, New Zealand, Holli McEntegart is an interdisciplinary conceptual artist and Postpartum Doula, using performance, video, sculpture and installation to map her engagement with the intersections of real and perceptual experience. Her work in postpartum support is an extension of her art practice, with a focus on re-centering and healing lived experience through discourse, drawing, movement and making. She holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts in Photography and a Masters of Art & Design with First Class Honors from Auckland University of Technology (NZ). She has exhibited extensively in New Zealand, New York, Los Angeles, and throughout the USA. In 2014 McEntegart was awarded a fellowship to attend the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture in Maine (USA). Following that, she took up residence in New York where she completed her solo show, Salient Hush, in 2018. She has recently relocated to Los Angeles where she continues to create under to watchful eye of the moon - you can read more about that here.
